One day we longed to have a dog as a pet. First of all,
we wanted to have a strong and courageous guard dog, but also a easy to take care of
companion and household pet to snuggle with in bed. Everybody warned us that we wanted
too much and that such a dog did not exist. We searched for a long, long time until by
chance we found a breed that we had not heard of before - the Black Russian Terrier.
In several good books it was written that this breed does not belong in the hands of
amateurs. Perhaps it seemed to us to be a little bit big, but finally it got our attention
and we took the risk. So we brought home our first BABY GENETIC bitch, who we
called BIRA. We were very lucky to find an excellent kennel GENETIC,
which had the best dogs in the Czech Republic, who had won a variety of Club Championships
and represent the best bloodline of this breed.
We managed to train the Black Russian Terrier without problems.
BIRA was very cooperative and clever and made us happy. She soon became
our inseparable companion, came with us on all our trips and holidays. Then a serious
illness came along and she passed away. Suddenly, our flat was empty, nobody welcomed
us happily when we came home and we had a lot of extra time because there was no need
to go for long walks.

| ARJA and DENSY |
As luck should have it the same breeder had a 7-month-old bitch left, which was the sister
of our
BIRA, but from the next litter. In a short while we had
DENSY.
Although at the beginning it seemed as though we were looking after a strange dog,
it did not take long to get used to the new puppy.
DENSY tried her best to replace
BIRA and she succeeded 100%.
DENSY was the most devoted friend of our
family, a perfect guard dog and an exceptional beauty, also officialy appreciated
at shows. She was able to run wildly in the garden, chase cats and unexpectedly frighten our
neighbours, but she was also very calm spending time under the table at the university
library or at the ski lift in the mountains. Sometimes she was so inconspicuous that
people do not notice her even though she is so big.
But the time came and Densynka came down with civilisation disease – a disorder of immune system.
This causes the total loss of immunity and the symtoms are similar to HIV. She fought tooth and nail but she eventually lost.
She left behind not only beautiful descendants but also love and memories in our hearts. At this time we can remember Densy
when we are looking at our dogs
ARJA (Densy´s daughter) and
BASCHKA (Densy´s grand-daughter).
